All Cape Umbrellas saligna hardwood is FSC certified, meaning we source all our hardwood directly from the wood plantation, and the environment/ forest is managed carefully with trees, animals, and local community benefits at heart.

Canopy Material: 5-year anti-fade solution-dyed acrylic or 3-year anti-fade polyester material blended to give you a unique and unmatched quality canvas top.
Frame: Hardwood & stainless steel.
Pole: 48mm diameter polished grade GR304 stainless steel pole. 1.5mm wall thickness. Aluminium protective sleeve.
Struts: Karrigum/Saligna plantation-grown hardwood with FSC grading wooden struts. Clear UV lacquer.
Hubs: Polished silver. Die-cast solid aluminium – Polished.
Fittings: Stainless steel fasteners.
Wind Tested: All products have been tested in a state-of-the-art wind tunnel.

The canvas is coated with both a water-repellent and antifungal coating. This means in heavy rainfall, the material will not wither and lose its stability. Additionally, the colour will not fade from the sun. All in all, our materials guarantee long-lasting durability.

Easylift System

What makes our umbrellas unique is our patented automatic lifting system. The Automatic lifting system features a unique patented automatic opening mechanism removing the need for cranks, pulleys and ropes. A simple pull opens the umbrella automatically.

Frame

The Seapoint is manufactured using marine grade stainless steel finished off with a 600 grit polish and FSC hardwood saligna. The marine grade stainless steel is naturally corrosion resistant in tough climates, finished off with a mirror-like polish to enhance the aesthetics of your outdoor space.

The saligna hardwood used on the Seapoint is all sourced directly from a FSC-certified plantation. FSC certification ensures that the environment/forest, animals and local community is taken care of sustainably. Once received, our hardwood is processed and manufactured at our cutting-edge woodwork facility. Our advanced woodwork machinery ensures precision control and quality of all our hardwood products.
